Protect not destroy!
Message de Belinda, Australie - 29/09/2011
Progress is not progress if you destroy people's lives and the environment!!!
Message de Maneesh, Etats Unis (USA) - 29/09/2011
there has to be a better way...this is a one shot deal...there is no going back and no way to bring back all the things you will lose!
Message de Darcel, France - 29/09/2011
I really hope my signature can help in this fight. It is not right, what right thinking person can even allow this to happen?
People are crying because there are barely any rainforests left, and you are choosing to get rid of it??? doesn't make sense at all. Please for the love of God don't destroy what can't be brought back.
Message de Maya, Nouvelle-Zélande - 29/09/2011
good luck hope you win and they leave you to live your lives happily and in peace.... Lots of love Maya from New Zealand X
Message de trisha, Etats Unis (USA) - 29/09/2011
Please do not build this dam! All the "Progress" you intend will never amount to the wealth of resource that this sacred land embodies. Please stop!!!!!
Message de jacci, Etats Unis (USA) - 29/09/2011
This HAS to stop! The indigenous ways are what we need to go BACK to to survive , NOT DESTROY!!! PLEASE STOP ALL PLANS WITH THIS DAM!

Message de Cora, Etats Unis (USA) - 29/09/2011
Please consider the indigenous peoples' voices in matters concerning development, as this is their land. Please try to find a way to work together so that all interests and voices are heard and acknowledged.
Thank you for your time,
Message de Thais, Etats Unis (USA) - 29/09/2011
Nature is way more important than Progress!
Message de Bonnie, Etats Unis (USA) - 29/09/2011
My heart is with the people and the land. yet another hydroelectric proposal to cause major devastation when there are so many other clear alternatives of sustainable energy and resources available. yet another short sighted vision of global and local impact on both knowledge, culture, people and the environment. i pray the human race becomes wiser before they become (and are) even more dedicated to their/our own destruction.
Message de Chelsea, Etats Unis (USA) - 29/09/2011
The Belo Monte Dam Project is a gross presentation of what the corporate world has become. To force people and animal life out of their environments, their lives, their homes; To destroy thousands of acres of rainforest in the name of "progress" is beyond revolting. What happened to integrity? When did we decide that "progress" was more important than life? Are we really so greedy? I stand with Chief Raoni in his fight against this great injustice.
Message de Manea, Nouvelle-Zélande - 29/09/2011

Message de Gervásio Barboza, Brésil - 29/09/2011
NÃO A BELO MONTE , NÃO DESTRUAM NOSSA FLORESTA !!!
Message de ..., Etats Unis (USA) - 29/09/2011
Following through with this plan will cause irreversible damage and untold casualties among the animal, insect, and plant life. Global warming has begun -please do not perpetrate such carnage and devastation that will contribute to our Earth's demise.
Thank you.

Message de Philomena, Nouvelle-Zélande - 29/09/2011

Message de Kaitlyn, Etats Unis (USA) - 29/09/2011
Solidarity from New York City! You are in my thoughts.
Message de Jennifer, Etats Unis (USA) - 29/09/2011
Enough with disparaging the Earth and its Peoples for power. With this action, you will forever change a span of land that may never be known again to the Human Race. How would you feel if someone came into your homes and filled it with water, laying waste to everything that symbolizes who you are and your history. Down with Dams!!
Message de Courtney, Nouvelle-Zélande - 29/09/2011
Respect these people, their history & their land
Message de Edward, Etats Unis (USA) - 29/09/2011
Il faut respecter les droits des populations indigènes.
Message de Kathalina, Etats Unis (USA) - 29/09/2011
Stop! ‎this is the 3rd largest dam in the world to be built in the Amazon (the lungs of Mother Earth)...thousands of people will be displaced and fragile plantlife and animals will be destroyed and this will affect all of us.
Message de Robert, Etats Unis (USA) - 29/09/2011
We do not need more destruction to the world, as we must protect it for the future of both children and people. Indigenous people do not deserve to be threatened or pushed away from their land, so please halt your construction of the Belo Monte dam!

Sincerely,

Robert Dunaway
US Ambassador for The League of Indian Nations of North America
Message de Elaine, Etats Unis (USA) - 29/09/2011
If you must build the dam, please meet all of the needs of the people before your begin your project. That is the responsible thing to do that is equal, fair and just. If their needs cannot be met or you will destroy that which is most important to these people, FIGURE OUT A DIFFERENT SOLUTION, until you find one that is "win-win" for you and the people of that land. Thank you for your consideration.
Message de Jordan, Etats Unis (USA) - 29/09/2011
Abandon the Belo Monte project
Message de Nate, Etats Unis (USA) - 29/09/2011
I pray that enough attention can be drawn to this heartless decision that it is overturned. These indigenous peoples and their precious land and habitat are too valuable for the whole world to let them be destroyed.

Greed for power is immersed in the western culture. Power literally and figuratively, at the expense of anyone in the way. We need to radically change and reduce our consumption, not increase and ravage more of the earth!!

One love
One world
Message de Dave, Etats Unis (USA) - 29/09/2011
I ask you to put a stop to building this dam. Nothing good can come from it.
Message de Katelin, Etats Unis (USA) - 29/09/2011
