What gives you the right to ruin the world's rainforests and displace and kill the life in it?! Stop the dam now!!!
Message de Rebekah, Etats Unis (USA) - 01/10/2011
It is time on this planet for people to start respecting native cultures and their lands, and stop obsessing over "progress".
Message de Sampath, Canada - 01/10/2011
Without forests, we, humans won't survive. Forests are the only source of clean air and clean water.

Message de Cheryll, Afrique du Sud - 01/10/2011
Abandon this project. How dare you try and disrupt the lives of people who been living here for centuries in the name of development.
Tell people to have less kids and you will not run out of electricity.
Where do you think you going to move these people too.
This is there culture. Respect it. They have done u no harm.
Use candles, it's also light.
You should be ashamed of yourself, Mr President of Brazil.
Message de Jennifer, Etats Unis (USA) - 01/10/2011
We need the rain forest. This decision not only effects Chief Raoni and his tribe who will loose their homelands to modern day greed, but thousands of animal species and the world at large. When those trees begin to rot they will release a good portion of the waste they've filtered throughout their entire lives. This is bad for the planet at large. We can't keep consuming without thinking of the long term repercussions! There is only one earth and we depend on it for every aspect of life. Please treat it as such!

As a United States citizen, I will call on my political leaders to support the indigenous people of Brazil in this fight. I will also share all the information I learned about this with my friends and family. The U.S. needs to stop exploiting indigenous Americans and start supporting and helping them maintain their rights, culture and livelihood.
Message de kvin, Equateur - 01/10/2011

Message de Barra, Irlande - 01/10/2011
This is outrageous, this is much more than a greedy crime, if evil exists it exists here.
Message de Orjan, Norvège - 01/10/2011

Message de Trevor, Canada - 01/10/2011
Why dose man always think he knows best. We have to leave mother nature alone, she is all we have really got.
Message de barbara, Grèce - 01/10/2011
we are against this in our country and cannot allow this
Message de Beverley, Etats Unis (USA) - 01/10/2011
It is inconceivable to me that the Brazilian gov't would destroy the lands of indigenous people to build a dam. The peoples are a national treasure, but greed will destroy it all. Shame on you. Someday, you will regret this action. History will not speak kindly of this decision.
Message de James, Etats Unis (USA) - 01/10/2011
Understand nature and life. the dam is wrong
Message de Kelly, Etats Unis (USA) - 01/10/2011
You have my support as I too follow a tribal community
Message de Amanda, Royaume-Uni - 01/10/2011
To the Brazillian government...you have no right to destroy what is not yours. I would say to Cheif Raoni; this is NOT BEING DONE IN MY NAME. The abhorrent acts that are being done in the name of progress does not have my support or the support of my community. May the spirits unite and visit justice on those who scar you, your people and the land you care for!
Message de Heidi, Porto-Rico - 01/10/2011
Paz y fuerza para ti jefe Raoni!!!
Message de Sofus Leo, Danemark - 01/10/2011
We all need to reconsider our deeds. Its is time for a change and we need to start taking care of our earth now. She is our mother and we are all earthlings to her. The indigenous people are among the wisest on earth and only they fully understand the cirkel of nature and only they have the respect for our environment.
Message de Kathy, Etats Unis (USA) - 01/10/2011
I am so sorry the people with all the money are destroying your world and lives! I don't know how to stop it. But I will pray for us all!
Message de sharon, Etats Unis (USA) - 01/10/2011

Message de diane, Etats Unis (USA) - 01/10/2011
