Message de Ali, Etats Unis (USA) - 14/02/2012
Please do reconsider. The people of the world are watching with dismay at the abomination that is your decision. Please think of your nation.
Message de Susan, Etats Unis (USA) - 14/02/2012
Stop the project!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Message de Susana, Canada - 14/02/2012
There are other ways of obtaining energy for our society. Losing 400,000 acres of forest, the fauna, the flora and the rich unique history of Xingu people is a price far greater than any implementation of new technologies could represent.
Message de William, Etats Unis (USA) - 14/02/2012
These people are losing their homes enough already. Please, stop this dam.
Message de Eliot, Australie - 14/02/2012
I apologise for the disrespect the Western Culture has shown you. I hope this will project will be stopped before further damage to your image of us is done.
Message de Diane, France - 14/02/2012
Brazil has always been famous for a reasonable economic development model, at the same time ambitious and relevant, but also respectuous of social issues. This decision goes against this past model, initiated by President Lula. This decision also goes against Brazil's national motto "Ordem e Progresso". This is not progress, this is just giving 40 000 people a great chance to die out of their natural living conditions, and destroying 400,000 hectares of forest whereas we know today how much our remaining forest are critical for our own lives. This is too much.
Message de Monique, Canada - 14/02/2012
These are peoples lives that will be devastated because of something that can be put elsewhere.

Look into your soul and consider how they will be affected.
Message de Clyde, Etats Unis (USA) - 14/02/2012
Don't destroy history.
Message de Dominique, Royaume-Uni - 14/02/2012
Do not let this happen.
Message de Marlee, Canada - 14/02/2012
No one. No one. No one has the right to take a home that rightfully belongs to someone else. This is wrong. We are illing our world. There will be no nature, no magic, no future.
Message de Christine, Etats Unis (USA) - 14/02/2012
This is wrong and should be discontinued based on principle.
Message de Martha, Etats Unis (USA) - 14/02/2012
It is the lack of respect for the Earth and it's inhabitants that has us where we are today.
Message de Amanda, Etats Unis (USA) - 14/02/2012
I support the people who started it all: the natural and independent people. We only have one earth; let's learn how to appreciate it.
Message de Sadaf, Royaume-Uni - 14/02/2012
I hope we can stop this happening. For everyone who signs this there are probably hundreds who haven't even heard of the situation, but would agree entirely if they had done. Good luck xx
Message de Baris, Turquie - 14/02/2012
Leave the free&wild people be
Message de Michael, Australie - 14/02/2012
Please respect the indigenous people. It is not right to destroy their habitat and force re-location in order to fuel the worlds accelerated resource consumption. The indigenous people of all the countries are the true land owners and have lived by respecting the land and mother nature. This is a very bad move by brazil and I pray that the decision is overturned. God bless chief Raoni and his people.
Just because someone is less powerful than you does not mean they are less right than you or have less of a right to life and happiness than you.
Message de Daniel, Nouvelle-Zélande - 14/02/2012
This cannot be allowed.
Message de Gerasimos, Etats Unis (USA) - 14/02/2012
We should not be so selfish.
Message de Michael, Australie - 14/02/2012

Message de Michelle, Etats Unis (USA) - 14/02/2012
People are always more important, it is a horrible thing to hear when such a truth is forgotton or dismissed. I find myself missing the earth more and more everyday, we need to do something!
Message de Maree, Australie - 14/02/2012
Please, please reconsider your decision. We are amazing with our solutions, when we really try. Please consider the future and not just the short term money gain - there is too much to loose.
Message de Beverly, Bahamas - 14/02/2012
This is the worst possible news. I'm shocked at the heartlessness of this move.
Message de Kasper, Danemark - 14/02/2012
Respect the Xingu People!
Dont build the dam!
Message de Jenna, Etats Unis (USA) - 14/02/2012
Please be patient, compassionate, and gentle with the decision making process behind this project. CO-CREATION is far superior to DESTRUCTION.
Message de Joe, Etats Unis (USA) - 14/02/2012
I support the chief in this effort to stop the advancement of the dam project. Respect of these magnificent human beings and their way of life should be of great importance.
Message de Daniel, Royaume-Uni - 14/02/2012
There must be another way to create the energy that is the reason for this project, that doesn't involve so much destruction of such a precious resource and most importantly so many peoples home.
Message de Martyn, Royaume-Uni - 14/02/2012
My thoughts and prayers are with you!
