Message de Charlie, Canada - 14/02/2012
With the advance of renewable technologies, it is time for us to move away from environmentally damaging and toxic methods of energy production. The earths ecosystems need a break.
Message de Anneliese, Etats Unis (USA) - 14/02/2012
I support this effort to request no dam build and allow the people to live in the valley.
Message de Natasha, Australie - 14/02/2012
Your role is to protect your country. If you do not you will live to regret your decisions to harm and destroy your greatest assets.
Message de Ariel, Canada - 14/02/2012
What message to we give our children if we idolize and mourn the loss of celebrity, yet we don't bat an eye when a civilization is eradicated? I was raised to cherish nature and all the wonder and life it has to offer us. We must respect that which we cannot control - destruction is not control - and destruction is not okay.
Message de Savannah, Etats Unis (USA) - 14/02/2012
Its a moral obligation to protect all indigenous people of the world.
Message de Martin, Canada - 14/02/2012

Message de Kevin, Etats Unis (USA) - 14/02/2012
The people of that land have more right to it than those who seek to destroy it. DO NOT let this happen.
Message de Carol, Etats Unis (USA) - 14/02/2012
I'm sickened, saddened, and in total disbelief of the cruelty of this project.
Message de shauna, Canada - 14/02/2012
Save the people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Message de Ann-Marie, Etats Unis (USA) - 14/02/2012
Please listen to this tribe and spare their land.
Message de Mimi, Etats Unis (USA) - 14/02/2012
This is ridiculous. Stop displacing people (indigenous or otherwise) and start being smarter about the plans you have for the WHOLE community, not just for the privileged few! This project extremely angers me because it means the end of an entire culture, an entire way of living, and of being!
Message de Alok, Inde - 14/02/2012
Biodiversity must be protected at any cost; we are destroying our culture, our heritage just for sake of some material gains which is not sustainable anyways.
Message de Philip, Belize - 14/02/2012

Message de Peter, Etats Unis (USA) - 14/02/2012
This is ridiculous! How would you feel if I just flooded your whole d*** city!? Respect nature.
Message de Kim, Etats Unis (USA) - 14/02/2012
A dam is a temporary solution for a much larger problem of how we live on this earth and exploit all of it's resources with no concern on the bigger picture. It is always at the cost or expense of those with less power, less voice, and less money. And those less valued by those with more power, more voice, and more money. It is always at the destruction of the natural envirionment and indigenous people.

When will we learn that the distruction of indigenous people and nature is the road that lead to the distruction of us all.
Message de Amy, Australie - 14/02/2012
Enough of the global destruction already... These people deserve better than this!
Message de James, Etats Unis (USA) - 14/02/2012
Modern people should respect the rights of the Indigenous.
Message de Jessica, Canada - 14/02/2012
Seeing the picture of the chief crying broke my heart. No one deserves that. The Indigenous people deserve to live on their land that is rightfully theirs.
Message de Emily, Etats Unis (USA) - 14/02/2012
These people's lives deserve to be valued just as much as Americans. Please leave them to their land.
Message de Monica, Etats Unis (USA) - 14/02/2012
Native americans have endured enough suffering due to the forceful seizure of their lands during colonization - a time in which the ruling class held close-minded beliefs and human rights were guarenteed through money and might. The construction of a dam displacing thousands of indiginous people and destroying acres of precious dwindling rainforests is not only inhumanely cruel but ecologically and socially one of the most disrespectful, harmful, and unimaginable events that could occur in our "modern" society. Where's the compassion?
Message de Gina, Etats Unis (USA) - 14/02/2012
Please do not decimate a culture, a people, their land, life and habitat they depend on
Message de Eugene, Etats Unis (USA) - 14/02/2012
Why would someone take someone's whole life away from them?
Message de durga, Etats Unis (USA) - 14/02/2012
A home to so many living creatures. Don't take that away from them....
Message de Clare, Etats Unis (USA) - 14/02/2012
Throughout history, our most apparent qualities as humans has been selfishness, greed, and a total lack of empathy. Most of the time, I am completely ashamed and disgusted to be a human being. This is one of those times. Please protect the people of the Xingu tribe and the ecosystems this hydroelectric dam would destroy, and restore my faith in the goodness of humanity.
Message de Mitch, Canada - 14/02/2012
Anybody will understand that this dam's negative effects greatly outnumber the few positive ones.
Message de Mary, Australie - 14/02/2012
All the best to you and your efforts Chief Raoni - I hope the world's voice is loud enough to be heard.
