| The Belo Monte dam is an act of genocide and ecocide. With the threat of climate change worsening everyday, it cannot be that politicians will sit by and allow "quarterly profits" to motivate this act of violence, which will forcibly displace 25,000 people from their ancestral homeland in the short term, and hasten the extinction of mankind in the long run. SAVE THE AMAZON RAINFOREST and the remaining indigenous peoples of Earth who still have some idea how to live in harmony with nature rather than destroying it and themselves in the process. |
