| I say NO to Belo Monte Dam. The Amazon is a majestic place and full of life. Mother Nature at her finest. We need to respect her and respect her beauty. She is going to be around for a very long time and I would love to be able to one day experience the Amazon and the gifts the Amazon bestows. I would also love for my children and my grandchrildren and all the generations of the future to be able to embrace the wonders of the Amazon and be able to learn about it, instead of it being a coporate farm. The Brazilian president needs to take into consideration of what his people are feeling and thinking. In Charlie Chaplins final speech "The Great Dictator" he said, "The dictators free themselves, but enslave the people!" This is exactly what is happening and we all need to unite to end this madness.
