Message de Paul, Royaume-Uni - 13/02/2012
Don't let this happen to these powerless people!

How much longer do we allow this to happen....

You must stop this! How on earth can you displace a tribe of indigenous people for a stupid powerplant? Find another means. Solar, Wind, anything! How would you like it if someone told you that you had to move someplace else after generations of living there, just so they could put their generator where you live. This is unfathomable and disgusting that you would do this! Shame on you all for even thinking about doing this to these people!

Stop killing off the planet and the precious indigenous people who are the true stewards of the land. We need to have a repectful relationship with the earth for the sake of coming generations. Why are the 1% not concerned with the future of their own children and grandchildren? It's a symptom of pathological greed. We have the ability to feed, clothe, house and educate everyone if resources are properly distributed. Population would stabalize and start dropping if there were the security for people described in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The "people" are waking up, so hooray for that!!

Stop this madness! Protect our planet Earth!!!
Message de Tamara, Autriche - 13/02/2012

Message de sylvain, France - 13/02/2012

Message de mallik, Etats Unis (USA) - 13/02/2012
It's wrong for any government to take away peoples land and homes for whatever 'progress' or whatever reason, especially if it means destroying a beautiful piece of forest. That's a big problem today, not enough people have respect for the earth on which they live in, and the people who do and who seem to have great knowledge and love for their land get forced off the land they are truly worthy of living on.
Message de christine, Etats Unis (USA) - 13/02/2012
when will they ever learn?
Message de Sarah, Etats Unis (USA) - 13/02/2012
Building this dam would be a foolish choice. Only hightly uneducated fools, self absorbed in money and ones who are missing the true treasures of life could make such a desicion to destroy these precious lands and persecute these innocent honerable people. The indigenous living in this land are the true stewards of this land taking only what they need thus ensuring enough for all. The ones who are pushing for this dam have no right to take from all, they do not realize the reprocussions of their actions and are blind to their own destruction. It is a shame that individuals with such hate have ever gained as much power as they have and us who believe in love and life need to rise up to protect the earth of such evil.
Message de Damian, Allemagne - 13/02/2012
will the 1% ever learn?
Message de Goodwin, Etats Unis (USA) - 13/02/2012
Please don't build this dam. The indigeionus people should not be treated like cattle. Would you do this a town of buildings filled with people?
Message de Jennifer, Etats Unis (USA) - 13/02/2012
This deeply saddens me. It breaks my heart to know that someone can decide to take your home at any minute.
Message de Mary-Kaitlyn, Etats Unis (USA) - 13/02/2012
I support Chief Raoni and the indigenous peoples of Xingu and request the permanent abandonment of the proposed Belo Monte hydroelectric dam project. This is truly heartbreaking, for going through with this project would mean the end of life as they know it for thousands and thousands of people!!!
